I have been going though this forum and I noticed one thing... most of the people that represent their gender are male... I know there are girls who like SotN and are just as excited about RotN. But you girls are not representing....
So where are the girls, women, ladies where are the gamers at? I doubt this is going to be a Guy's game right? so represent!!

But it's "normal" that there is more guys that's appreciative of Iga's work, let's look at aria of sorrows or more precisely its bestiairy.
What is in it? well a lot of pixelated female nudity, just the arachne (nude female torso) for exemple totally shoots something white from... well just a little down from its mouth
Siren has a nude female torso too
Durga and curly are pretty much wandering around in what seems bikinis
Lilith and succubus, well... they look like pretty much naked flying girls
I don't think all that is to entice female audience

Ixbran lol that is funny, that would be interesting to find in the castle to say the least. but most girls don't like super ripped guys. average cut guys yes, or at least that is what my sisters and girlfriends have said...
but that's not the point I want to know what attracts girls to SotN games and what they like about the up coming Bloodstained game... are there really no ladies out there that wants their voice to be heard?

Here's a list of some monsters you might find interesting from Order of Ecclesia, which had a female protagonist: Werebat, Lorelai, Ladycat, Black Panther, Draculina, Lilith, Rusalka. Three guesses what they all have in common. I suppose an Incubus/Succubus could be different in that the whole point of their form is to be attractive, but if you view incubi and succubi as two separate monster types, it's not like encountering an incubus is some sort of comment on the male characters' sexuality... but even if it was, so what? |

As I said as long as I get to play Miriam I couldn't care less what I'm ripping apart, but I somewhat doubt Igarashi what the responsible of that much nudity in the castlevania series (there is actually a topic about it in the wiki I found out) so I think maybe (I don't know how much lore about demons contains nudity) there will be far less nudity except for art piece such as renaissance painting or statues |

The game is really for anyone who wants to play it. yes it is and I agree, but all I'm saying is where are the girls to represent themselves. I know why I like the game and most likely the girls, or any igavania fan for that matter, loves the game cause it kicks ass. but why it kicks ass... that becomes varied with person to person, sometimes from gender to gender and I for one want to know what those differences are... maybe there is something I missed that I never noticed before... I want to see this game and all Igavanias through as many different eyes as possible. |

I find many online women (in gaming) rarely openly announce their gender unless they are married or have a boyfriend who is active with them unless they're an attention monger or a catfish. Most of the 'normal' girls kinda just act like normal people and not really bring gender up, I suspect because they fear some weirdo or creeper will start bothering them. I mean this is obviously a generalization that does not apply to every lady but I'm sure it's a significant factor as to why they may appear under represented.
