In case anyone can't get their demo to work, you can watch Jim Sterling play it below! I highlight his playthrough because Mana mentioned that the "Amy Shard" was super-rare. However that didn't stop Jim Sterling so thankfully you get to see it in action  Did he quote Dr. Steve Brule? |

As someone who backed for DRM-free options, I admit I'm a little annoyed that the demo requires Steam (though I understand some of possible reasons why). Lemme know if/when it becomes available through GOG (Galaxy). I'll talk to a friend who's on Steam that also backed and maybe give him my code if he didn't go high enough himself. Mana has already stated last night that no other platforms are being used for demo due to costs and time restrictions. She would rather have money and time go towards full game |

If you sort under the weapons menu you get to see what kind of weapons we get to use. No shields I guess. But we do get guns?

I'm relieved that the demo was able to run okay on my PC (my gpu is only a radeon 4850 HD, but I guess everything else was up to snuff).
This was a pretty nice demo. I did find it to be little bit too easy, but then again it's seems like it's supposed to just be the intro stage, so..yeah.
Also, when I found the kung-fu shoes for the first time, I had an uncontrollable urge to try and make Miriam do a "Spinning Bird Kick". xD

gameviewz the Amy shard only has a 1% drop rate. I gained a few levels trying to get one without success.

Another point regarding platforms other than Steam, their intention is to have the demo only live for a few months. If it were released DRM free or on consoles, it would be bit harder to make that possible...and harder certainly to keep it just for backers as a thank you.
