Hanging around the forums for awhile and cannot find a dedicated thread related to this topic so I'd like to create one. So I'm more like a retro-freak type of guy so I subscribed a bunch of retro game reviewers. Cinemasscre: Probably almost everybody who loves to play retro games knows James and AVGN by now. James&Mike's Monday and Mike&Bootsy are good show recently. Pat the NES Punk: Complete Unnecessary Podcast, Ian and Pat's topic is wide and fun. Lazy Game Reviews: Almost watch Clint's video every day while eating my lunch or dinner. A channel dedicated to retro console games is everywhere, but LGR is dedicated to PC and other computer machines like Amiga, Commodore 64, Atari Computers and of course IBM-PC's games. As a computer geek who spends lots of time with my old Cynix CPU and S3 graphic card back in the days, it's like paradise. I'm a patron of LGR now. PushingUpRoses: Basically same as LGR but PUR is more dedicated to adventure games IMO, and also a lot of weird old games. She's cool. LGR&PUR's Let's Play might be the best thing ever, they just have some chemistry there, very pleasant to watch. AlphaOmegaSin: Just love to see Alpha rants through all the events lol Gaming Historian: Also a patron of this. Norm's video is probably the best quality on the history aspect of gaming industry (hey, the channel name is "Gaming Historian"). It's just so well-formed and executed very well. Extremely good show. Game Sack: Watched them a lot in the past, plenty of information on games, but sometimes they're just a little repetitive. 8-Bit Guy & The Obsolete Geek: Not only games, but also retro technologies, The Obsolete Geek collects arcade boards too! Retroware: I subscribed this mostly because of the infamous "The Video Game Year" show, that's a very big, yet well executed one. From 1978~1989, tons of games and knowledge I didn't even know before. So what are you guys' choice?

Only ones on that list I watch sometimes is Cinemasscre and AlphaOmegaSin
Some of the ones I watch regularly,
JimSterling, Totalbiscuit, Larry Bundy Jr, ReviewTechUSA, TheLonelyGoomba, HappyConsoleGamer
You might like Larry Bundy Jr and HappyConsoleGamer since they cover alot of retro stuff.

Super Bunnyhop "Welcome to Super Bunnyhop, where we make pseudo-journalistic content about video games!" I don't know I like the guy, he was one of the most informative when Kojima was fired too

I would say it depends.
If I just want to chill, Lord Karnage (aka "Classic Game Room").
If I want just to get informed, Pat's Unnecesary Podcast usually fits the bill to a tee (although I'm neutral on his comedy videos). Or the Happy Console Gamer. Depends.
If I want to laugh, Retsupurae and/or Ashens.
If I want some noise in the background, JonTron.
If I want arcades, ghostlord000 (aka "The Galloping Ghost Arcade Youtube Channel")
It also depends if I'm looking for a particular game. The best example from the top of my head is that let's play ravensdive did for Total Distortion. It's a great LP, hilarious, and one of the few LPs I have rewatched several times. However, I've never seen anything else from them.

Gotta plug miketendo. His YouTube channel Dongled hosts Dude You Haven't Played This Game (DYHPTG), PixelTunes Radio, What Did Miketendo Get, and various other things. He is a collector and huge Castlevania fan. He was sure to plug Bloodstained, too! If it wasn't for his podcast on game music and the Facebook group for that, I might have missed out on the Bloodstained Kickstarter. If Miketendo didn't exist, I probably wouldn't be writing this, and these forums might not be here and I certainly wouldn't have made the podcast. And like I always say, you can judge a podcast by it's Halloween episode. Here it is (so good).

Guys I watch a lot:
Markiplier- He's normally very entertaining to watch and has, by far, one of the funniest gaming channels I've ever seen. Occasionally, he shares some interesting pieces of information as well.
Game Grumps- May not play games well (sometimes) but they are one of my favorites. Because they is two of them they often have something interesting to say and they really feed off each other to be entertaining. In addition, some of the games they play are ones I've never seen before.
Tetraninja- I really like that guy
Guys I watch sometimes:
Skorch82- The first gaming channel I had ever seen. I don't remember what he was playing but I remember being charmed by it. He really hasn't been active lately so he's either really busy or he's not doing youtube anymore.
DAGames- Occasionally. I really like their music though. "Follow, Greet, Wait, Repeat" is one of my favorite songs by DAGames
Jackscepticeye- When I want a voice in the background.

More of a lurker on here so I apologize for not being around but yes, I am a HUGE Castlevania fan. As far as the review show, this is probably my favorite Castlevania review I've done: And as Mike mentioned, PTR is all about Castlevania.

H2O Delirious - this guy is hilarious, and always makes me laugh. he has a laugh that's contagious as heck, and he's completely crazy. he can be a bit absent-minded and forget things that are obvious, but he plays games well when he focuses. he's a great guy all around. he's one of my inspirations.
Game Grumps - while my interest is starting to diminish, i'll always love the grumps. honestly, i feel like their show would work better as a podcast as there have been episodes where they don't even focus on the game at all and instead talk about random things, but they still make me laugh and are entertaining. plus, they're the ones who brought me here!
Mini Ladd - zany, kooky, silly, memes. all things that can describe Mini. i discovered him and Delirious through VanossGaming, after a friend of mine linked a few videos to me. he's one of my major inspirations, and why i'm very serious about becoming a content producer. plus, he wears pink hair very well. maybe on par with Markiplier himself!
Jacksepticeye - another inspiration and all around an entertaining content producer. main reason i dyed my hair green, though mine ended up a more aqua colour, haha. he's funny, energetic, and keeps you engaged, but also has his quieter moments as well. he's great!
Daithi de Nogla - i'd feel wrong mentioning Jack without mentioning Daithi. yet another Irish youtuber. i feel like he's often overshadowed by Jack, but i don't think he minds at all, as the two seem to be really good friends. i love all the videos they've done together. Daithi himself is goofy, a bit of a doofus, and when playing games with his friends tends to be the butt of jokes. he also has some of the best rage moments i've ever seen from any youtuber ( I AAAAHHHHHH! -disconnect- )
---
and that's my list of favourite youtubers that came to mind! i actually have a lot more that i regularly watch, but these are the ones i tend to watch the most.

xboxahoy/Ahoy - game a lot, learn a lot + epic voice
I watch Totalbiscuit to inform myself with the latest gaming news, since I'm really slow these days about that topic.
And yeah I watch the AVGN too.

Maximilian Dood: Max is actually pretty entertaining. I especially like his reaction and Boss Rage videos. Fair warning. He's a bit loose tongued but if you can handle AlphaOmegaSin, you can handle this guy.
