At Galleon, i managed to get a Shard (Raging Gale from Aello) at the same instant i hit a Seama with the Claymore. After the shard animation, Miriam froze into position. The game continued to run normally and when Dullahammer hit me, i was able to return my control over her.

Happened again. Miriam froze after getting a shard i already had (Summon Bat) but now, it happened because i got hit at the same second i got the shard. Miriam froze and went out of that when got hit a second time.

Yap, Miriam would be stuck after absorbing a shard sometimes. You can not move, attack, but the menu is still workable. If you are attacked, this stuck situation will be solved. Hmm, it sounds like shards are enchanted with petrification. By the way, the moon in the scarlet room shows in front of the building and it has some ghost image behind the building.
