Maybe we'll get a hint of Simon or some other guest character at E3 in a few weeks. I've no proof and I'd still be willing to bet money that Smash will be a big part of the E3 Nintendo Direct.

From what I've heard, that guy's got a negative reputation on Reddit for editing his comments at the last minute to avoid being wrong, pretending that everything he said has been correct all along.
True or not, I'm not giving this guy credit for "leaking" the TMNT in Injustice 2. Also from what I've heard, he's been wrong on several details for SoulCalibur VI already.
And, more on-topic, I doubt he's accurate on Ridley. Masahiro Sakurai couldn't have made it more clear that playable Ridley isn't going to be a thing in Smash.

Simon Belmont was just confirmed in Smash alongside Richter Belmont. (Richter is an Echo Fighter of Simon.)
Dracula's Castle will be the Castlevania stage. The stage has cameos of many Castlevania enemies (Camilla, Flea Man, Death, Dracula himself, etc.) The stage will also boast 34 Castlevania music tracks.
Alucard is an assist trophy. (SoTN design.)

Starting a off a fight in Dracula's Castle, and than ending up on Yoshi's Island.. oh my, the possibilities! :p

When you become a Smash character, you by necessity become a better jumper than you used to be. This made me worried for Simon, since (aside from a few outliers, like Juste) the Belmonts are iconic for being terrible jumpers. I was afraid he wouldn't really feel like Simon anymore if he made it into the game.
But hot damn, he looks really heavy! My worries are as dead as Luigi.
