Games you want that will never happen

Once I was able to buy a PSP, that was the first game I bought on the PSN. I've been occasionally going back to it on the PS3. Rod is totally a demigod in that game; he definitely surpasses his father. xD I'm not sure what you're implying with Rue; I haven't yet discovered an easier way to beat Rod by transforming. How long does it take to max your stats? And which character do you prefer? I used to prefer Rue, but now I like both equally.

Fancy Mel isn't THAT bad. =P She's just...different. I've actually come to like that place. Those minigames were difficult at first; now they're a walk in the park. A...brightly-coloured park. Of pink and purple doom. STARLIGHT DUKE.

I knew about Rod's music change. He just gets even more difficult the more you fight him. I was thinking that's what you meant with Rue, but I have no idea how you can cheat to do that. Is there a way in-game, or is there cheating software of sorts? I do like Mint's variety that is always available. I love her character design, too; the outfit, the colours, the magic... And that one-of-a-kind personality. So arrogant. xD

I have no idea why those minigames were so hard when I first tried them! It's the opposite of going back to an NES game after a decade and wondering how you beat a game you find ridiculously hard now! xD

Noone mentions the idea of a Castlevania 1999? I know it wil never happen. It can't happen. Konami holds the license and are being morons, and I expect IGA is tired of Castlevania. But I can't get the idea out my head. Imagine the armies of the world uniting against the ultimate evil and Julius Belmont fighting Dracula at the height of his power. DX

Here's another game idea that I know will (sadly) never happen.

An Igavania (Metroidvania)-style Elder Scrolls game!

I know that the main appeal of TES games in general is the exploration of large open worlds (I've been playing TES games since 2002).  However, I'd personally like Bethesda to try this at least for a side-game.

Just remembered I've brought this up a couple of times; a Musou game starring a bunch of Tatsunoko characters. Casshern and Polymar could get really big dumb transformation attacks, you could have classic characters like Gold Lightan, and we could see some of Tatsunoko's newer stuff like Gatchaman Crowds represented. I'd eat it up.

Also if Sega ever decides they can afford to make another Virtua Fighter they should just put Kiryu in as a playable character.

I would like to see a new Soul Calibur game.

That will happen sooner or later. They've apparently given up on Tekken x Street Fighter and T7 should be about done now, so the next logical step would be a SCVI. I liked V myself, though a lot of people didn't for understandable content concerns. It had more than SF5 though, lol

So long as it's not Lost Swords 2 or Legends 2. I don't think they'll do that again...LS was just awful.

They are in a tight spot as far as characters. They introduced a lot of "successors" to previous styles in the last couple of games, so...do they include the new ones -and- the fan favorites? Like, having Cassandra, Sophitia, Pyrrha AND Patrokolos (AND Pyrrha Omega?) would be way too much sword/shield people. Then you have Taki/Natsu and Leixia/Xianghua, Kilik/Xiba, etc. I have no idea how they could reconcile that, so we may be stuck with perhaps a few returning, but mostly the newer people.

Everyone is very attached to the SC2 cast though, yeah. I didn't think it made much sense to ditch Cassie, she should still be fairly young, but some of the rest of them I could see not being around in a new generation. I guess they could just have playable swaps that are the old characters with their own part in the story. Shouldn't be hard given how the character creation pretty much makes that possible anyway.

The way 5 developed the fighting system itself was pretty good. I never got instant blocks down consistently, some pretty high level stuff there...

I mainly just want to see Yun-seong, Talim, Seong Mi-na, and Zasalamel again. :3
