It's self-entitled. Please don't perpetuate the misuse of words and terms. As for the difference between the usual KS and this preordering system, the main difference is the purpose behind them. The former is there to attract investment (getting startup funds) while the latter just serves to squeeze an extra dime out of the costumer (securing profit). So the issue with this preordering business is the morality behind it and the fact that the (potential) costumer feels like they're being taken advantage of. It is customer, costumer is someone who makes, sells, or rents costumes. Now if it was Capcom you would be right, they sell more DLC costumes than games. I'd say I had that coming, but I can conveniently blame the auto-correct for that one. |

Hahahaha. I can't help but imagine Ben every time one of those pops up nowadays. I would like to note that I'm not a grammar-nazi (or anything of the sort), it's just that "entitled" is one of the most commonly misused terms in the gaming circles.
In case you don't know the history, the misuse entered the mainstream vocabulary when Bioware started butchering it while talking trash about gamers. |

That is new to me, I didn't knew about this Bioware being so ignorant and people following their error without even knowing. You're right since calling someone "entitled" would be a compliment instead of a bash, that is what most people try to do when using it. It is the first time that I read "entitled" instead of "self-entitled" so you can imagine how many times I've read conversations about this (like 3 or 4). |
