These are freakin' amazing! Can't wait to get a mic so I can start recording my own stuff. It's too bad I don't know when that'll be, so I don't think I'll be able to share anything here. ;-;

I use PC so no GarageBand for me. FL Studio is a no go either due to reasons. And Noteflight can only do so much and there's a limit on how many scores you can make if you're a free user.

Yeah I record using Audacity as my audio interface, and I have a Yamaha YPG 535 as my keyboard, but the PC mic is absolute shit so I can't even record some instruments like Blown bottle or Buzzsaw synth because the mic simply doesn't pic up some of the sound. But I plan to order an Audio-Technica AT2020 Microphone and a pop filter so hopefully I can get some material up on Bloodstained in the next couple of months or so. :p

It definitely has that Gothic feeling that fits the theme of Castlevania.

Sounds very church-y, excellent. Perhaps the Bell Tower could be a vertical part of a larger area, like the Chapel in SotN? Thanks! I've got a software package coming in (hopefully this weekend) that lets you make choral sounds with words (other than "ahh"). And I have a text that 1) miraculously fits what I've already written, and 2) works with the Bloodstained story. So we'll see how it turns out. Every castle's got to have a chapel, right? (: That seems like the perfect place for a bell tower... and plenty of stained glass windows. This was a very long time ago, so maybe it's rude to ask, but might I inquire what software package you're talking about? I currently use FL studio, and there are very...limited choir options, which is essential for an intense atmosphere. :p

I'm also using FL Studio, but the packages that I am using for choirs are Vienna studio's choirs (which is what I made the original track with, but limited to 'ah' sounds). I picked up EastWest Choirs, which allows for syllabification. Unfortunately, work has gotten really time-consuming (for the last year), and my spare time to finish this one off has been very minimal. EW Choir stuff was clearly more flexible, but definitely lower quality sounds than Vienna. But Vienna is just so expensive for so few things... kinda frustrating. As far as I know, there's no real good free choir 'instruments' other than the normal basic amorphous sounds.

On a totally unrelated note, would you happen to know how to make an instrument 'fade in and out'? I know that you can sort of do this by manually manipulating the volume, and that you can make the initial play of the note quite by lowering the velocity, but I can't seem to find any fade option. The instrument I wanted to fade was a violin part, but violins are one of those MIDI instruments that will just play the note at the same volume for no matter how long you sustain it so. Ahahahaha.

The instrument I wanted to fade was a violin part, but violins are one of those MIDI instruments that will just play the note at the same volume for no matter how long you sustain it so. Ahahahaha. Yep, you can create an automation clip. Go to the mixing board and right click the volume knob of the channel that has the violin part. Then look for something like "create an automation clip" (or similar). That should create a "pattern" on the play list where you put all your patterns. It should have a line on it that represents the volume. Then just put that automation clip where you want to change the volume of the violin part. Then play with th line to change the volume at the right time (you can make slopes, insert set points, do lots of things -- basically it'll let you tweak the volume to what you want). Hope that helps... lemme know if you're having any problems with it. By the way, you can automate just about any knob that way!

Note - these were not made by me. However, they're the only pieces currently in my personal Bloodstained remix collection that don't appear to be, even if somewhere on the forum entire, found in their appropriate thread.
I give you J. Daniel Orta (as Claire Anne Carr)'s Red Moon.
Also, while Garoad's Cave of Lost Souls is on here, I haven't seen any sign of Blood Soaked Roses. This shall be rectified.
And finally, Diego Vizia's Legendary Duel.
