Whatever happened to the 1.04 patch for PS4? In August 1st they promised “later this month” and were like 4 days from the month ending. I’m still laying markers with Circle on the map while that was fixed weeks ago on pc and switch. Is it still coming?

After looking at what needs to be accomplished, our goal is to bundle performance improvements into (likely) one patch. Doing so eases the submission process and will result in an overall faster completion. Since this is still in development, we don’t have a firm ETA. We will update everyone when we have a more concrete release window.  |

Yes, the delay is a shame, but if the problems with the Switch port are so severe, it makes sense they'd want to take as much time as possible to correct them. I can't counsel anyone to be patient at this point--I'm displeased with the delays and I don't even have a Switch--but I won't say the Bloodstained team has abandoned Switch backers either. |

To heck with the achievement, many Xbox games that have a bugged achievement for unlocking achievements still aren't fixed even years later i'd much rather they let us buy they iga pack, or at least give us a new ETA on when we can because it's already past the end of August |

I'm not even a developer working on the game, and I could have told you from the very beginning that releasing small updates for the Nintendo Switch version over time wasn't feasible due to how much work would actually need to put into improving it considerably. I understand the need to qualm the woes of the disparaged, but let's be real, this version of the game needed at least 6 more months of development at the time of release; little updates wouldn't cut it, and 505 Games should have been more upfront about it instead of putting up yet another facade. The objective SHOULD have been the one big update patch from the start, marketing be damned. |
