There are pets and portraits I've already come across in the game. If you have some in game content you would like to let us know about, go ahead and post it in spoiler tags here.
I was afraid that portraits might affect the atmosphere while playing, but everything seems to fit pretty well!

I'm not very far yet, but I have run across one of the Hounds of Hell pets. It's a giant cat coming out of a portal, but it's not my crazy Kamikaze... I'm still waiting to find him in-game (All the hounds of hell content is the same, just re-skinned. I believe there's 2 enemy types, Dogs and Cats.) I'm so happy how this game has turned out and couldn't be more excited to see all the content that's hidden inside! |

I would be really stoked to hear from backers who did weapon and enemy design about what they contributed, their thought process for that content and their thoughts on the final version in game.
Would be really cool to know if some weapon I like to use or so is backer content!

I love how they fit the portraits in. The bestiary description implies the canvas is a demon and the picture is of their latest victim.

My backer portrait was the girl with the eye patch (my picture right now). I noticed she has gained quite the popularity which makes me really happy. Also Special Voice 13 As Said by Belgrade was me and my boyfriend. My boyfriend has this interesting line in the credits... The story was he didn't think it was going to be seen by anyone and thought the Scriven Credits would be small. So when my friends and I were checking for the names we put in the credits and got to that, we all busted up laughing uncontrollably. Not only was it huge, but it was the only Scriven Credit at that time which means EVERYONE could see it. XD Now, I have a question for the people that did the Hounds of Hell. I personally did not do it because I thought it would make me sad to kill my pets. So when I was playing Bloodstained and saw the Hounds of Hell. I really did not want to kill them. They were so cute. I think I am a giant wuss for thinking that. I would assume you guys did it because it didn't bother you? |

I was afraid that portraits might affect the atmosphere while playing, but everything seems to fit pretty well! The vintage clothing and portrait painting look of the photos definitely helped. But there were a few instances where I have to disagree. In particular, one woman's mug you see early on while moving up the cathedral. I almost couldn't believe my eyes. If I hadn't already mostly finished the game, I figure I'd have dived into the game's paks and conducted some diligent censorship. But I gather there are mods for this now. I'll have to look into it. I'm a very old hand with making mods for Bethesda games so I have a bit of interest in investigating the possibilities with this game. |

I say hello to you every time I pass the portrait in-game, and of course thank you for not being one of the attack ones xD lol If I had known both that these would be so extensively used AND so well done by having Mana draw them, I would have gotten one myself...somehow. Even if I was broke for a while and stuck in debt, it would be worth it. The portraits are awesome. You guys can be summoned together with Iga even, using Welcome Company. Even as someone who didn't give at the Hounds of Hell tier, I do feel bad hurting the pets haha, especially that first kitty, but you can't really avoid it. They are monsters trying to hit me, too, though. Another great implementation - I've heard some complaints about immersion with them as well, but it in fits in nicely with the rest of the charmingly weird stuff of the game and I love seeing the backer touches, too (salty as I may be that I didn't have one). |

To be honest though, I was sure the girl was a reference to Saber from Fate/Stay Night because, at least for me when I first saw the portrait in-game, they seemed highly alike lol. Mine was actually a shout out to my Hounds of Hell buddy, Kamikaze (Demon #85). It was a fun surprise to discover he was the last of the hounds of hell pets, and thus the highest level (Rawr!), unfortunetly at release they got his portrait wrong in the Demon Archives. I already reached out to Angel-Corlux and he's assured me they have a fix in for it, so that's awesome. Hopefully the online wiki's will update their images too. As for your question, I had a moment where I said hi and then another moment where I admired how well they'd implemented my little buddy... And then I murdered his demonic face repeatedly for that sweet sweet shard!! - For me, it's the fact that he's forever a part of this game that is important. I knew going in that he would be an enemy so it didn't bother me sending him back to hell when I finally encountered him. |

Hey Thomas yes that fix I wrote to you about is indeed confirmed! I also had that "oh hey it's you!" reaction when I came across him. 
And if I know wiki folks and their attention to detail (and I should, I used to be one) I'm pretty sure it'll be updated everywhere else in due course as well.
P.S. - Whenever I run across him I make sure to fight him with the most bombastic shards possible, a proper send off in true JoJo-style!

I had completely forgotten about the quote in the credits (also surprised that I saw it in the shortened version in my play through, COOL!).
I also had forgotten what I had written.... and it made me laugh, which is a good sign. Awesome!

I made the Oleanders shoes in game. the reason I went with show was mainly ,because they were shoes, they were visible all the time, unlike other weapons. I was really satisfied with how they turned out and went through practically all of my 1st playthrough using them exclusively after getting the other foot techniques. Both cute and effective!
