Im curious if any of my fellow xbox one players have experienced isssues with items/chests not appearing at all. Both myself and my friend can't get the bloodbringer weapon even though we have the familiar. Also the chest for hair style number 12 didn't spawn at all. The point for me is to collect everything and I can't which has left me waiting for a patch/update to fix this issue. Fellow console gamer here but I finished the game on the PS4 Pro using the 1.01 build (first patch only). The build of the game you're likely playing (I'm assuming it's the same as the 1.01 PS4 build) does not have the last hair style and is missing a few other things. I was able to complete that build of the game with 100% map coverage but wasn't able to 100% the bestiary, shards, or culinary quests. For example the second to last boss you encounter wasn't even recorded in the bestiary and neither were some of the drop items I received from regular enemies (silk from the big cat in the oriental lab comes to mind).
My advice is to create backups of your save file and to do a NG+ once the newest patch becomes available. There's still plenty of shards you can upgrade in the meantime.

I would like to report a bug. I backed this game 4 years ago and only found out this forum existed TODAY after FANGAMER told me about it. That seems like a really big bug.
I would also like to report a bug that the switch version is not a completed game.
Also it should run at 60FPS. And its textures need to be completely redon as the bug is that they are BLURRY AS HECK. Blurstained Ritual of the switch should be recalled.

Switch version just crashed. I literally just talked to Dominique, and instead of her shop interface opening, the game just force quit itself.

Doing a slide into a body of water (with no sinking ability) ends you in a state where you can't jump or attack. You can only move left or right.
EDIT: oh yeah, setting a shortcuts familiar shard to "remove" doesn't seem to remove your familiar if you switch to that preset.

Just experienced a very weird softlock while banging my head against Zangetsu trying for no damage. Went for a reset like so many times before but I got stuck in the options menu. The loading symbol appeared in the menu and none of my buttons would do anything. I waited for about a minute and it was still there and I had to alt-f4 out of the game.
Attached a picture of the situation. EDIT: Probably relevant but I might have hit start at the same time as I was getting hit as I already knew I had lost the no damage when I knew I couldn't dodge his jumping slash when I saw it coming. Also, my head is missing Attachments:

On the Switch version, my game freezes when I open the first chest right. I deleted and redownloaded the game, but the issue persists.

I would like the Switch version of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night to be fixed with graphics, textures, text, resolution, frame rate, input lag, crashes, freezes, loading times. I want the Switch version of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night to be 1080p docked mode at 60fps.

There are low graphics, low textures, low resolution, missing text, long loading times, frame drops, low frame rate, crashes, freezes, etc. for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on the Nintendo Switch version.

XBOX player, before the 1.03 update I couldnt get ODs nose glasses, now after the update I still cant get it and now where there should be a chest for it, there is instead a open chest. Also somehow it affects all my save files even the save files before I attempted to get the glasses by jumping underneath him.

We've got glitches, yes we do!
1. HP MAX UP items broken
My poor Miriam was put on a diet. Fat Free Ice Cream, Gross.
But seriously, there are two places I found that the HP MAX UP items don't actually work.
Can anyone confirm?
2. Wrong Variable assigned?
The Traverser's Ring doesn't do what it says in description. It modifies weapon ATK instead of base ATK. Not such a big deal, but other items that do the same affect base ATK.
3. Wrong item description/oversight from cut enemy?
The Fey Leaf drops from Moco Weed, but description says it comes from Datura. Perhaps a cut enemy?
4. Valefar Ceiling Glitch/Lag Compensation Discussion.
And lastly, Valefar got stuck in the Ceiling. I didn't catch the moment of the glitch occurring, but I started recording my futile efforts after.
I think it happened because I super jumped, inverted, paused and equipped the Aegis Armor pretty much simultaneously the moment I entered in the corner of the room while he spawned.
From this video you can also see how the physics of the poker chips and coins work inefficiently.
A few people I have spoken to have noticed the amount of lag in this section of the game.
From the video we can see that Valefar's Chips all spawn into existence simultaneously, asking the machine's memory to be populated very quickly.
This wouldn't be a problem, but they all break apart. I bet they are using that unreal "make an item that can be destroyed" feature. This means the chips are all several items each.
That's a lot for even high speed memory to handle all at once, least of wise the garbage they shove in consoles.
Maybe slow him down lifting them, so they can spawn incrementally with the action so they have time to load without lagging?
In this video you can see, they also stay on screen long enough to fall the full distance of the arena. In the actual fight they only need to stay long enough to hit the floor and bounce.
Maybe set their decay a bit faster to free up memory? Maybe they all don't need to be breakable?
I suggest having some break and some "pop out" of the stack to bounce around the arena and cause player damage.
You can also see the coins he drops fall through his pants, and continue to fall beyond the visible scene of the player. Unnecessary in the actual scene. They need to be destroyed faster the free up memory/cycles.

Playing on Xbox One. Just loaded my save after the 1.004 patch rolled out today. All chests and some HP/MP/Capacity UP items have been reset. They are now closed and contain items again. Not as bad as the issue PS4 users had with all chests becoming empty, but still kinda annoying.
Items drops from monsters have also been getting stuck in walls constantly. Sometimes they just sink half-way into the floor. This definitely wasn't happening before, or at least not nearly this often.
UPDATE: I just got to the hidden room with a portrait of Iga for the first time (the one that warps you tothe 8-bit dungeon) and there is an empty chest in it. Hope I didn't just miss out on something important.

I have the game much advanced ~90% of map complete(in the moment today i update the game and then use the last game save I have), but I check that Demon #122 is missing (I completed the game a few hours ago, so it's impossible) also a lot of Recipes and maybe other items i can´t get because these chests are open. The game it's so great it's the back of the Metroidvania King but this issues are a shame, much more because the update for Xbox One users will be only minors localization issues as the patch notes said , but i think than change a lot of enemy placement and also solved some bugs (like use the pause to stop some enemy attacks like the dual cannon from Millionaire.) but I have the issue of the chests like the PS4 folks. I will cannot get the 100% of demons or shards (and with the issue of the item recipes also I cannot get all missions and some achievement related) Rgs.

Not sure if the correct place to post this but I haven't even been able to successfully launch the game through Steam, the first time it was acting strangely and seemed to be maxing out my memory usage, and every time afterwards it just crashes to a "FATAL ERROR" message right at the initial loading screen. I've tried various fixes suggested online like, deleting/reinstalling, changing the sound settings, going into regedit, verifying the game files, I will be filling a form as well. It's just a fair bit annoying, since I bought the Steam version after receiving my physical copy for Switch that, was experiencing some glitches such as a graphical glitch while talking to an NPC, and even crashing once, so I bought the PC version since I heard it ran better but I still haven't had any success with that version at all. This was the glitch I encountered upon meeting the Coachman initially (on the Switch version) not sure if other versions are like this but Miriam's Shadow was acting strangely and not appearing properly, instead appearing as just a floating ball

Just had something bizarre happen in the Tower of the Twin Dragons (on Switch): I had just gotten an MP Max Up, then dropped down to open the blue/silver/purple chest (whatever colour its supposed to be, it looks purple to me there), and I was half in the floor. I moved a ways back along the path and suddenly dropped all the way through to the area below.
The only other thing that might contribute to the oddity was that I was still poisoned from a Scythe Mite hitting me.

I posted earlier about the item chest bug happening on xbox one after the 1.004 patch. I wanted to add that that the chests that I hadn't yet opened at twin towers of nightmare are empty, thus locking my progress.

Console: Switch (not sure if it's present on other platforms)
Sometimes when I die (playing on Hard Mode, it's almost impossible on the Switch with the input delay), I'm able to freely move Miriam around as if nothing happened until the Game Over screen crawls up. In other words sometimes her death animation (either in the air or on the ground) doesn't happen. It's pretty amusing to spam crouch in front of a boss that just killed you, so I wouldn't mind if the bug stayed, but I wasn't sure if anyone else had noticed it.

repeatable collision issue in inferno caves
i figured out after I recording, you don't need to high jump, just a normal double jump there while using the ninja run shard.
