Kickstarter Update #84 - Preorder, Modes, and Launch Update

1 steelcase per backer sounds good to me. I'll take 1! Only way to get one shipped here to Sweden I bet.

Overlord I'm not going to argue over this. I don't want to turn this into a fight. I listened to what you said and considered it. That's what i think and i stick to my opinion.

I stand by my arguments, my point wasn't about refunds my point was that plans change and that we made investments not pre ordered already existing products. Regardless the decisions made so I won't argue the point. I do sincerely regret you feel cheated but I'm glad the content will be available to all and will help increase the success of the game. I've seen alot of hot head on the Kickstarter comments section going on how they are going to tell all their friends not to back the game because the content didn't stay exclusive so I felt I should provide a counter voice.

Yay, more nontroversy surrounding this project...SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH.

Well, I've pre-ordered my copy, so now the wait begins. It's going to be some grueling 25 days of wait but it will be worth it.

In the meantime I'll be sure to stay the eff away from these forums and the KS page because I'm done with all the hissy fits thrown by this community because of literal non-issues.

Just saw the update and so far the only thing in there that really disappointed me was the quantity of the Steelbooks being made available to backers cause I bet you more than 800 backers would love to have that steelbook  . Also while I am not a fan of the $15 price tag for the steelbook I totally understand why it's that way since this was not included in the original Kickstarter (and thus not guaranteed to backers for free) and it is (more than likely) coming directly out of ArtPlay/505 Games' own pockets where as (and correct me if I'm wrong) the rest of the cases are probably coming out of the retailers own pockets (which is probably why Best Buy has 3000 of them).

P.S. Here are a few more things that I'd like to bring up/mention that Question didn't touch on in the update that I feel needs some clarification:

1. As part of the Social Media Meta game during the campaign backers unlocked a goal which would give every backer tier a 8 bit remix track (as well as a PC & Mobile phone wallpaper) so I wondering if this is something that will be included in backer copies or something that will be digitally sent to backers at a later time?

2. Will New Game + mode be available/unlockable at launch?

3. For the backers who are getting a physical (and/or digital) soundtrack will the soundtrack include the 8 bit music from Classic Mode and will backers who got the digital soundtrack get it on day one?

4. Will the Retro style Strategy guide for the $100+ tier backers come with the physical game when it ships next month or will it arrive later along with the physical soundtrack and other physical items/knick knacks?

5. This doesn't really have anything to do with the stretch goals, but I was wondering if the Art Book would be sold separately down the road (with different cover art of course) via Fangamer,etc.?

"We" didn't agree to anything. This isn't a hivemind, nor was the survey even limited to backers. And again, landslide or not, this does not change the fact that it's false advertising, which is the issue here.

Ah ok lol, for some reason I had it my head that there was gonna be a 3rd extra playable character , anyways thanks for clearing that up for me I went and removed it from my post.

Steel books are just tin DVD cases that look snazzy and sexy to alot of people they feel good and durable in a way that plastic dosent, some people like em some don't care.
