When you jump and attack just before hitting the ground, you reset the animation upon landing so you can attack again really fast. Like, I could pull off two attacks in less than a tenth of a second with the dull sword family of weapons. And this bug can be replicated easily with relatively instantaneous weapons or weapons with low windup, like the whip, but the greatsword ones are much more difficult and have much less of an increase in attack speed. (And during the Zangetsu fight, I realised I could also backdash and occasionally pull this bug off too)
Is this a bug, or a feature though? This is the sole reason I beat Zangetsu with the fully upgraded dull sword (Its name is eluding me right now).
Hope this helps! Nephel
P.S. Great demo! The effort you guys have put into this game is amazing! Hope for a few more! XD
Aztec: As a social media community manager myself I can’t help but to notice just how badly the post-release social media campaigning has been for this game. Other than multiple tweets right around launch and talks about the switch version getting fixes they...

Aztec: ...would go DAYS without a single tweet when the game was barely a week old. And now other than a tweet here and there responding to people they’ve gone almost radio silent for almost a month! Yes the bad switch version took the wind out of some hype...

Aztec: ...but they still have an excellent game (on pc, PS4 and XB1) on their hands that is allegedly selling very well and instead of riding that momentum they’ve done the contrary. You can hype the game and work on Switch foxes at the same time after all

Aztec: i wish this game didn’t come out when it did. It clearly could’ve used another couple of months in the oven, especially the Switch version

Aztec: Not a single post in two days? This place is a cemetery. I don’t know why I keep coming back.

purifyweirdshard: like I said a little further up: Angel said that the plan is to ship out in late August, but if they need to change that they will tell us soon

purifyweirdshard: also I would expect a traditional "last Thursday of the month" update for August

RichterB: I've been keeping an eye on the number of copies of Bloodstained at a local retail store, particularly the Switch version. Best I can tell, it looks like only one or two Switch copies have moved since after launch day...

RichterB: I'm wondering if this has to do with the Switch version's bad press, or less demand for the game in general than expected (at least in physical form). I assume it's more the former and that that is why so much time is being spent on fixing the Switch ver.

RichterB: But I agree with Aztec that a later release, say, in Fall to work out the bugs in all versions wouldn't have been too bad of an idea. Right now, it's a somewhat awkward situation for anyone who is thinking about playing it on Switch.
