Console CotM code release has BEEN COMPLETED

3 weeks out, EU just getting their codes, Australia still holding out

What an actual insane mess this is. At the start of the delays I thought people were being a tad unfair but this far out really hits unacceptable territory.

So you asked for a European Switch code even though you dont own the console? May I ask why? And was that the only console you asked it for?

Happy to see European Switch and 3DS codes were finally distributed. What about Xbox Europe? Did this game launch over there yet?

So about that, I just had an idea. As both an apology to backer fans as well as a means for them to catch up on progress with their preferred console versions, cheat codes are implemented and released to backers to unlock modes. As a part of rolling this out, new ones could be implemented as well. I think that'd be really neat and hopefully not too difficult.

For example -
Say you are an Xbox One backer. You wanted to play the game on your console, and still do, but went ahead and did everything on Steam - and it seems a bit of a chore to do all of that again so you can play (spoiler) mode on your Xbox. Inti Creates programs cheats via patch and sends them to Fangamer who releases those via a private Kickstarter update, and now you can use an OG style button combination to unlock (spoiler) mode to play it right away, not needing to worry about save data problems. These would of course inevitably reach non-backer players as well, but that's fine in the grand scheme of things, so long as they are not too heavily advertised so as to call attention to the contents they would hint at.

My European code for Switch worked, I got the game today. I played it a few times on 3DS already, couldn’t wait for so long to see the issues resolved. It is a bit sad that the backers were not the first who got the game and some of us had to buy it on another system to play it. So, I am sure it will go better with Ritual. I love Curse of the moon, I cannot stop playing it! I might like it better than the main game, we will see haha..I still have high hopes for Ritual, even though 2.5 does not convince me yet. Anyway, what I have seen from the main game looks good, too.
