While playing Curse of the Moon, I couldn't help to notice it's a trait of Zangetsu as a character. Curse of the Moon - which is avaliable right at the start of the game -, which acts as a level select, seemed odd to me.
It's named. It's has an unique description. And is described as something Zangetsu has.
I have a very poor ability trying to keep up with news. Just exactly do we know about Zangetsu as a character on Ritual of the Night? Does he have this ability (described as a curse given unto him)? I get Curse of the Moon is a spinoff supossed to open the apetite for the main game, but this detail seemed oddly specific to not be part of his character sheet.

Well, IGA and the team were pretty nebulous on how seriously we can take the story elements in BCotM in regards to the canon. At first the game was considered a prequel, then they called it a spinoff, so now I'm not sure. The name sounds like a reference to Simon's Quest to me.  |

Nah, RotN's structure is completely different. The whole focus is in the castle itself, which will be IGA's biggest. Plus there's a whole bunch of characters we've seen from RotN that don't show up in this game. |
