I'm trying to decide between getting Curse of the Moon on 3DS or Xbox One. Does anyone know if there are going to be any interactions between the two titles? Opening extra content in ROTN if COTM is installed, for example. I assume there is not since it's being offered on multiple platforms but didn't find anything definitively stating such. Thanks. Love the community. Been a lurker for a looong time.

I don't think they have announced anything like that, so it is safe for you to play it on your 3DS for now.

One thing we'll get would probably be a or several cheat codes after the completion. Those Cheat Codes could be implemented in the main game for cosmetic effect. Like 8-bit sound effects and music and who knows. Maybe a recipe for an 8-bit whip in the main game.
The advantage of using cheat codes like this would be that it can be applied regardless of what platform(s) you use for the spin-off and the main game.

Curse of the Moon is going to have alternate endings, right? I dig the idea of different cheat codes being rewards for different endings. Digimon Battle Spirit for the GBA did a similar thing, where finishing the game on single player would give you a code to unlock a character in Digimon Rumble Arena for the PS1.

BlueWyzerdI'm fairly sure they would have announced if there was going to be any unlocks between games, so I think it's safe to assume that there won't be. Go ahead and get Moon for whatever system you perfer @autumn Yup there will be multiple endings, I'm guessing that they will be tied to who is alive in your party at the end

I am guessing the endings will be like MVC3 where the character to make the final blow gets the ending.

I second this idea and hope (but somehow doubt) they thought of it in time to implement it! It would be great, though - gives you incentive to purchase Bloodstained if you already bought and played Curse of the Moon. |

That would be a fun idea. Aria and Dawn of Sorrow had a similar mechanic where one could get special items immediately upon new game in Dawn if Aria was inserted into the GBA slot. You're talking about something like this, right?  BlueWyzerd |
