May I know why the GOG version is removed?
I suggest to create a drm free option for backers. Steam DRM is still DRM and it is totally unacceptable.

I think you would have to ask Inti Creates that and they don't have eyes here.
As for why, my best guess (emphasis on guess) is that since they're self-publishing it and as far as I know haven't published to GoG before, with GoG not being a promise on the Kickstarter, it probably wasn't worth establishing that platform. From what I know, it's pretty unusual for a new game to launch on GoG as it is.
Worst case, this is a free extra thing for us that if needed to be bought again separately will likely be in a very low price point. It's crazy still though that it's included in the $28 tier.

DSLevantine Just want to point out that just because it's on Steam does not mean it has DRM. If you can play the game without Steam running, it's still DRM free. A lot of games not sold by the big publishers do that(e.g. Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition). Might want to get more info on how the mini-game is going to work before bringing out the pitchforks. At the very least, Fangamer is claiming that the Steam version is DRM free.

I do know GOG is occasionally uninterested in extremely niche titles. For example, the redone version of A Tale of Two Kingdoms by Crystal Shard is available on Steam, Itch.io, and Humble, but apparently GOG wasn't interested in working with them (according to the developer, "We'd be happy to, but GOG has declined the game, believing it is too much of a niche market.").

OK guys, I asked Question about this a little while ago, and this is what he told me: So yeah, it seems like there wasn't any malicious intent on the part of Fangamer, GoG, or IGA's team for that matter. It was just a miscommunication, Fangamer didn't receive proper notification of what would and wouldn't be on GoG. It happens, sometimes emails don't go through, or pieces of communication get cut off or overlooked, that sorta thing. It's annoying, but it happens, not the end of the world and nobody's fault, really  |

DSLevantine IntiCreates has no presence on this forum, or anywhere official on the Bloodstained social media sites. 505 Games isn't publishing the side game, so they really can't help in that regard. The best way to let them know in my opinion is to go to their Twitter and Facebook where they are announcing CotM and let them know there that you want a GoG version. Facebook post
