Well the shards itself on Miriam is just rose-shaped and are spreading across her skin, the signatures around every core (rose fragment which has start to spread) have runes from Johannes to stop it from spreading. These runes are based out of alchemy, but aren't as strong as the curse, if Miriam keeps collecting those souls/shards from her enemies.

The rune itself means something about Koji Igarashi if I am not mistaken. Translation.



Zangetsu have these anti-demonic cards which he throws, it act not only as a shield from attacking demons, it also hurt them, similar to "thorn damage" in RPG games. He can also throw the cards, which can be seen in Curse of the Moon, but also on Mana Ikeda's painting and in the main game:

For myself, I want to be a resource to the community and also an advocate. My role works in both directions. I also want to build up as much knowledge of the game as possible so I can answer questions without having to ask someone else the same question! There's a lot of established knowledge built up over the years since the KS, not to mention the Igavania history. It will not feel so daunting at some point.



For the community, I hope that we will all work to make it a welcoming group for everyone old and new. A place where people can come to connect with each other, to ask questions, give answers and be a positive place for everyone old and new.
