Oh man, what a terrible day today.
I must have eaten something bad last night--maybe some bad pizza--because I woke up this morning with stomach cramps, chills, aching all over, and diarrhea! Making things worse was that I was sore from working out yesterday. I'm feeling a little better now, though still a little stomach crampy and diarrheay, but I couldn't get any work done earlier because I was feeling so bad. ;_;

Yesterday I had a conversation with an attorney/lawyer (which is the difference in english?) about what happened with my job days ago. Lets say that by accounting everything that happened until now, he is 70% sure that we will won the case. There was some wrong things happening there and I was trying to endure it for a loooong time until they decides to fire me or I can't bear it anymore, since they choose to fire me... _medusa

Man oh man, it's been busy over here. Between balancing news and media coverage, managing the new pet, and catching up with old friends... it's been really distracting. I've noticed that some of my posts on sites are starting to get off base, due to all the craziness! Maybe I should just sit back for a while and relax, instead of posting today! LOL
But I hope everyone else is doing well!

As for moi, I did the thing today. That uh..."inturrrrvoo" thing that the kids love to talk about these days.
It was on the easy side, but I took it seriously. She was young, so I made a gamble on her getting my sense of humor. It paid off. I even did the drug test right in front of her. I felt like a lab rat. I think it went fine. I just need to get them proof of high school graduation. For some reason, I can't find my diploma, and my mom is certain she not only had it...but that she might have lost track of it in storage. Yay...
Now we just play the waiting game as I pass my background check with flying colors.(Just like my drug test...wait what do you mean there weren't supposed to be flying colors around the office?! Uh oh...)

Well, I dipped my toes into a comic series called Saga. It's the story an alien couple whose races are waging war against each other as they try to run away and raise their baby, while also following the story of the people pursuing them. It is crazy and great.

My day was good so far, tummy is all better, reading a lot of horror novels/novellettes bought off Kindle 8) It is physical, but it's also available digitally. The series is up to issue 30, the trade paperback volumes (what I read) are up to issue 24, and the next volume that goes up to 30 comes out at the end of the month. Saga is also very HBO-ish. Robot buttsex takes place in the first issue and heavy themes like war and prostitution are touched on while featuring things like flaming gorillas, wrestling sitcoms, and cats that can tell if you're lying or not. Definitely not for kids (unless you follow the philosophy that any book is a kid's book if they're old enough to read). |

I spent most of my day sleeping because I was up all night gaming. When I woke up I ordered an XL meatlovers pizza only to realize I had no cola left. Knowing they take almost an hour to deliver I made a quick trip to the dollar general and picked up some Dr Topper, a generic Dr Pepper substitute and made my way back. The pizza came shortly afterwards and I caught up on my DVR shows, The Strain and Teen Wolf and ate so much pizza it made me feel sick. I drunk a few wine coolers, passed out on my bed, woke up again, reheated some pizza and logged online.
... and here I am.
