Thanks UnclStv. Nice to see this place growing! Seen a few cosplayers across random conventions as well, so word is spreading nicely. Glad to help. (: There'll probably be an even bigger influx of members with the next backer update. Cosplay is always fun. It's also a good advertisement because it's fan-driven (easier to associate with actual people or word-of-mouth) and the convention crowd is probably the game's target audience. |

Any idea when the next backer up will be? Was supposed to be July, but I always anticipate delays when it comes to big projects. Not obsessed with knowing, but am curious. Looking forward to seeing how the game progresses throughout development.

People are speculating and discussing it here, but all we really know is that the next update will be some time in August and Fangamer is putting extra effort into the survey so it feels like the original campaign. |

Sounds great. Bloodstained definitely has the best Kickstarter to date and, if others are smart, will replicate the experience. Don't want any more Red Ash-like Kickstarters.
Also, since I have no idea how to work this thing, how would I go about editing my signature?

Sounds great. Bloodstained definitely has the best Kickstarter to date and, if others are smart, will replicate the experience. Don't want any more Red Ash-like Kickstarters. Also, since I have no idea how to work this thing, how would I go about editing my signature? Go to profile, then edit profile, then the personal tab, and you should see a signature field, among other things.  |

My day...or rather my past two days. The meeting went off without a hitch. Though I'm still supposed to get something from them afterwards, and it is 2 days late with no word as to the hold up. It's very important that I get this something, so I'm going to call them today and Monday if I don't get it by then. This was the 5th, I spent most of my day at that meeting. Yesterday: Yesterday on the 6th, I met up with a male friend, let's call him John, whom I haven't seen in person in a long time. He left for school in another state, so seeing John again was great. I was supposed to meet him on the 5th, but the meeting took all day. A female friend of his, I guess mine by some extension and let's call her Sue, also showed up. I expected Sue to give me mostly a cold shoulder. Why did I expect this? Long story short, 3 years ago I liked Sue and didn't properly convey it and it was far too soon as I only met her earlier that year, so it backfired. I also have a not so great relationship with one of Sue's good, if not best, female friends.(Even longer story there) John is in the same boat as me on that one, but he knew Sue's friend since high school and was not fond of her then either. Sorry if this was hard to follow. However, that wasn't the case at all. John, Sue, and I had a great time hanging out. Even John's sister was hanging out with us. I even managed to win a game of pool/pocket billiards against Sue. We were both terrible at it and she won the first game.(John and his sister were not playing pool with us, we were alone) Then I realized that I still kind of like her. Great...oh well.  My day today, I hung with John all day yesterday and came home at 3 am. I solemnly swear there was no debauchery going on.  John should be on his way back to his school state right now. Anyway, I woke up at 7 AM. Yay. I made a mistake this morning due to fatigue and not thinking straight. My mom said some money was missing and I'm sitting here wondering how that could have happened. She's working it out at the bank though. I wonder how this day will end... |

Well, I got to see the comedians I talked about earlier provide their own live MST3K/Rifftrax-style live commentary for an old weather disaster movie. It was great. They even got a local weatherman to get in on the show and filmed pre-recorded footage of him reacting to certain parts of the movie and giving snarky weather facts whenever something scientifically inaccurate happened.

Well, my evening didn't go as planned, but it was still salvaged and ended up being a great time. Some of my friends and I haven't seen each other in a while, so we decided to have a night out where we'd meet at this local family-owned ramen restaurant. I've never been there before, but all my friends talked about how good the food was it was and I was excited to eat some real ramen for the first time ever. We were also thinking about following it up with a trip to an arcade that was less than a mile away. We made plans to meet at the restaurant at 8:30. I arrived at 8:20 and saw there was a line outside, which the people in line told me was normal for the restaurant. As customers left, a restaurant employee would let more in. I got in line to save a spot for for my two friends. I got a text saying they were carpooling, picking up a third friend, and they were running late, which I was okay with. Long story short: things didn't go as planned, I waited over an hour for friends who weren't able to show up, an employee noticed, and I ended up getting my meal for free. I was a little lost on what to order since I don't eat a lot of Japanese food and had no idea what I was going to get, so I politely asked other customers for suggestions. This is what I ordered.  It was extra spicy. Eating it felt like devouring the entrails and guts of angels and slurping their blood. I made sure to leave a nice tip. I am also making an effort to return in the future. By the time I finished my meal, my friends texted me and said they were still interested in heading to the arcade. We hung out for three hours. There was floor and a half of various pinball machines, old beat-em ups, fighting games, that Namco Mario Kart game, light gun games, rhythm games, those games where you win tickets to exchange for prizes, and Typing of the Dead. We spent a good amount of time playing the Simpsons and Battletoads arcade games, light gun games, Namco Mario Kart, Typing of the Dead, checking out all the weird old licensed pinball games, and singing Smash Mouth's "All Star" when we noticed the Shrek pinball machine. Everyone had fun and we resolved to see each other more often. |
