Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Whether you have a special someone to share it with, or take the day to treat yourself to some pampering and goodies, our best wishes go out to all our amazing fans!
To celebrate we're revealing a brand new weapon you can find in the game, the "Macuahuitl"... Miriam should have no trouble keeping unwanted suitors at bay with it... 
We also want to show our LOVE for all the amazing artists out there who have made or are making incredible Bloodstained art! Be sure to check them out here if you haven't already!

Dang, those things are NASTY. Gotta admit though, a club with obsidian glass blades makes a lot of sense given the theming of this game.

Could add more pieces of obsidian with crafting upgrades? heh I like it, going to include it as suggested fix! Visual or particle effect changes/upgrades to crafting in general sounds great to me. I know very little about how it all works though, like if crafting is only x + y = z, or if it can be x + y = better x. Was kind of hoping for the latter being possible so that favorite earlier weapons can be relevant later. |

If purifyweirdshard 's suggestion is ultimately added, I do hope that means Obsidian itself will be a base crafting material. Angel-Corlux Can you answer if the Bloodstained developers are still doing " Throwing Sword" weapons? 'Cuz if they are, and this is slightly related to this update, I would suggest the Atlatl (complete with obsidian darts; or "yaomitl") as either a "Gun" or "Throwing Sword". ^ While it is a primitive Stone Age weapon once used by the Mayans, it was surprisingly effective against the iron armor worn by conquistadors. |

I wonder if this can imply that there will be an area where there was obvious volcanic activity or if certain enemies will be a living embodiment of molten rock.

In regards to the volcanic stuff, the game's setting is in England and the volcano is far away in Iceland. The effects of the volcano's fallout brought devastation across the Northern Hemisphere. I don't know if lava men quite fit, but hey... we have already seen a similar area in SotN, so anything is possible.
