I want to see a Hard Mode Lvl 1 cap (with and without game plus) in Bloodstained, similar to Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia: Normal is hard, but Hard + Lvl 1 cap is a brutal challenge in which you must use all your glyphs, items and equips to survive and clear the game; the enemies are relentless and faster than before (especially the smaller ones) and some bosses change their attack patterns and are insanely strong, so I think Bloodstained needs an hellish optional difficulty like that, with ajustable level caps like: 255, 50, 25 and the infamous Lvl 1 cap. I concur. I particularly liked the way they handled Hard Mode level cap 1 in Portrait and Order because you essentially had yet again two options: you either played it in NG+ with all the items (and the challenge was tempered in some way, it was also pretty fun to use items that were optimal for the various situations or specifically built for that mode, like the Ancient Axe Armor in Portrait which made every attack hit you for 1/10 hp always) or you could play Hard level 1 in a clear file which was absolute hell.

Have you tried playing Hard Level Cap 1 on Old Axe Armor Mode? (unlocked by defeating 1,000 Old Axe Armors)

Galamoth that was so ridiculously hard I didn't bother also I found Old Axe Armor to be by far the least fun character to play as.

I just recently played through Order of Ecclesia and its New Game + layout is perfect.
When starting a new game you get to keep your levels, items, stats, and hp/mp/heart max ups. The only glyphs you don't get to keep are major movement ones like volaticus, paries, and redire (get to keep rapidus fio though thank god).
It lets you start a new game + in normal mode or hard mode (LV 50 cap or LV 1 cap). You also get to select which character you want to play as.
This is ideal because it serves the crowd who want new game + to be a challenge AND it serves the crowd who just wants to relax and power up by collecting double accessories, more hp/mp/heart max ups, farm stats for glyphs and power up certain accessories like the justice ring, devil ring, and miser ring.
If Bloodstained has the same new game + system as Order of Ecclesia I will be quite pleased.

Galamoth - That Axe Armor have a super jump, that is cheating Sustained - If the majority of gamers said this to Koji, that they liked how that new game plus feature was good, I am pretty sure we will get it or similar. It all boils down to IGA taking the best elements and reach new hights with them so to speak. Changing the formula but have that feel in it. I have no idea how New Game Plus are handled in any kind of game since it is a rather new thing I haven't seen (yes I am old), I am happy if there are something new after you finished the game once, and there is - two other playable characters. If there is more, its a good bonus.

Curse of the Moon gave bosses more moves and messes with enemy placements in its "New Game+" so I'm hoping the main game will do this as well. Too many times devs just buff enemy stats and call it a day.

IGAvania's have been relatively good at doing similar, but I agree, it was subtle at first, but I really noticed it in the first boss fight. Nice touch to the new game+ formula and would definitely enjoy seeing something comparable in the main game.

I think it'd be pretty cool if maybe some bosses were relocated / swapped in New Game +. Like you get to a part with a boss you usually do fine with but instead its a more difficult one. I think that'd be more fun than just fighting the same boss with high HP / damage. Also, one of my favorite New Game + features in Dark Souls 2 was when you're walking toward an certain area and that area's boss climbs out of a large crevice. It climbs back down the crevice but since it didn't happen the first time through the game it gave me a bit of a spook and I thought it was pretty awesome. Or possibly multiply the boss like the first DLC boss for Dark Souls 1. In New Game + you fight two of them instead of one.
