Hmm - I'd prefer the Miriam figure to resemble the Alucard model shown above which would make for a fantastic collectable for true fans. As for the Funko Pop figures... I briefly considered getting the Joi figure from Blade Runner 2049 but was disappointed when I saw it up close. Like Sunraiser stated: there's so little detail.

Right, as you can see, the Good Smile nendoroid figures are posable with parts and expressions, stands, props and so on. I can respect that people like Pops, especially if there's no merch otherwise for what they're into.
My only potential gripe with amiibo would be that there'd be no variance or mystery in what we'd be getting. I'm almost certain it would be Miriam in her standard Miriam pose and that's it. Would be really cool (I have a Shovel Knight one and I don't have a Switch lol), but I'd hope for something more. The best thing about it would be word of mouth and exposure of the brand in that case, which would be huge.

Actually I guess what I'm talking about mostly falls under the 3rd option as an action figure so I'll go with that
Just a chibi one lol. A Play Arts Kai type thing would be cool too, or a high end statue. My usual answer to this is either full-on cute/cheaper to simplify it and keep costs down or full on serious high-end for an accurate representation of the character

purifyweirdshard You might have the right idea after all. I checked out the First 4 Figures and Mondo sites and many of their figures are $200 US or more. That price range would deter any but the most devoted fan and the nendoroid option would likely sell better. In the case of First 4 Figures 400-500 was not uncommon and I'd rather spend that kind of money on something else. We can all agree that Funko Pop is out of the question though; Miriam deserves better

Maybe a means for people to unlock some of the backer extras (as just regular paid DLC for the other systems)? Though going by that route, I imagine all the backers would want freebies. |
