Two playable characters must be in the game. No need for specific quests in my opinion, but if they have time for that, it could be patched in later. Two playable characters at least.
Nightmare Difficulty would be the best choice, since that would make more sense to keep the players going.
Cheat codes is "easy", and should be in the game too.
Local Co-Op is just something I would like to try out.

My money back. Just kidding. As I've mentioned before though, I would like to see all of the content available at release. If a new mode is released eight months later, some people probably won't even bother with it. Also, most games these days unfortunately need a performance/bug fix patch, so they may have to prioritize something like that. Another thought; how long will it end up taking to release all of this content? I'm certainly hoping the game does well enough so that we'll see more games, but we only have so many decades to wait in between releases.

The most important mode for me is New Game+ Everything else is a bonus.

CastleDan you gave good examples of stretch goals to improve the main game that would be interesting. I have nothing else to say. By the way, a good example of stretch goals influencing the main game (if this is good or bad, it depends on people's personal view) is the Boss Revenge Mode. That mode dictates that we can play with bosses in special areas to fight against the heroes. Not only that will require the game to have some powerful heroes (i don't think that Miriam, Zangetsu and Dominique are enough for that, but who knows) but it will also require some bosses to be "playable" and that, most probably means "human-sized". In past Igavanias, MOST bosses were much bigger than the main character. But in Bloodstained, it is most probably that the game will have 5 or 6 human-sized bosses, so that they can be used on Boss Revenge Mode. I don't know about Zangetsu (since he is a confirmed boss, but he also has the potential of being both a playable character AND an enemy at Boss Revenge Mode) but Bloodless is a great example of this. She has the same overall height of Miriam and she even walks and moves around in a way that screams "look at me, i'm playable!" As i said, this is an example of a stretch goal that probably modified the main game due to it's existance. If it wasn't for Boss Revenge Mode, MAYBE Bloodless wouldn't even exist and the game would have less human-sized bosses. For the good or bad that may be.

I'm most interested in the main quest, the rest is just frosting. Therefore, Nightmare mode, second and third character, bosh rush, and roguelike only after the first four are complete to give me something to mess with after I exhaust pretty much everything else.
Truthfully, I could even do without the extras, if the main game is polished and satisfying and Nightmare mode is added, I'd be happy. However, I realize that one must adhere as closely as possible to the stretch goals for ethical reasons.

BOSS REVENGE MODE. Bloodless and other unique characters would be playable.
it's really the most valuable mode alongside Miriam's adventure.

krystalPlease do explain. I think it will become repetitive fast being locked in match after match against Miriam. Unless in your vision think you actually can roam free in the castle with any kind of boss!?

I kind of expected Boss revenge mode to be more than just fighting against Miriam. At least something along a mini map with a set of rooms the other playable characters show up in as opponents. Kind of like the Boss Rush mode, but playing with the Boss against a set of characters.

I'm certain that, while I don't actually think Boss Revenge will be part of the base-game, it will feature more than just Miriam for the playable Bosses to fight against. (I can think of both Zangetsu & Dominique, at the very least, as other characters to fight against)

I have no idea what to expect from it lol. What I actually kind of hope it means and would be interesting though is if it's like the Old Monk in Demon's Souls where you're controlling the boss against an actual player in their game. It could be within the main game or to its own mode, but basically just pitting an actual player against the person using the boss. That would keep it much more interesting than just fighting an AI protagonist xN, which certainly sounds like it'd be tiring quickly.
Here's a scenario to picture, putting in SotN terms: imagine you get to the fight with Richter, but instead of it being an AI boss fight, someone online matches with you and is controlling him in the fight.

Busterific Galamoth Thats true. Maybe we meet the other playable characters. but still. Roaming free is an issue. Some bosses are attached to elements, like water, and are huge in nature. If you enter the mode, will you be able to choose which boss you wanna play as? Is it random? Is it a stage-based treament where you start out as Vespar and end with endboss? And if so, will a loss count or not, and thus be score-based, round-based or random that too? I mean.. If I could be IGA, and IGA is somewhat good in size in the game, with good movement. I think I would love walking around killing enemies as him. But I mean.. It's something for a fan-made mod perhaps. Hmm.. purifyweirdshardA co-op during boss-battle is a cool feature. Taking turns and try to beat each other..

I'm thinking that the only Bosses you could control are most-likely going to be humanoid or at least small enough.
I don't see us being in control of gigantic Bosses like Vepar, regardless of whether they're normally restricted to certain environments (such as sea for Vepar). ^ (Unless playing as Vepar entails trying to attack the protagonist enemy as they traverse through a wrecked ship, that is; just before the actual Boss fight to get in some bonus damage.)

Going to be my first name out there too. Even though my name might be recognized somewhat in two communities, this and Diablo III (of the old days). I think just by seeing my name, it will warm my heart, knowing at some point during the production, someone over at the team actually thought on my name, and wrote it.
And really, it is the thought that counts.
