Greetings!
I've been running weekly races of the 3 Castlevania DS games with a randomizer to see just how good they are for racing, and I thought I would reach out here to see if there's any interest. I would love having some more people join up.
There are only a few rules: 1. You must not use any major sequence breaking glitches, like partner double jumping, suspend clipping, or cutall button pressing. However, you can use speed tricks like partner slide switching, damage boosting through spiked rooms, jump kicking off enemies etc.
2. You must not cheat by viewing a stream of a racer, giving out hints about important item locations, making screenshots of important screens etc.
The only proof required for the races is a screenshot posted after you've beat the final boss of any game, although you are welcome to stream your run if you so wish. You can also chat about your progress or about the game during the race.
I expect interested racers to message me through the Bloodstained Discord or PMs. I go by the tag DevAnj#0220 there.
This week I'll be racing Order of Ecclesia on Saturday/Sunday. The exact time will be picked after the racers have decided on one.
