Hello everyone!
What an exciting time it is for Bloodstained! No one expected us to be at New York Comic Con, and now ANOTHER surprise:
The wonderfully talented Mana Ikeda of ArtPlay has created her first piece of official Bloodstained art! (pictured below)
 This art will be used to create an exclusive limited run of medium size free art prints that will be given to attendees of New York Comic Con that come to the booth at 10:30 every day, where they will have the chance to get the print signed by the man himself, Koji Igarashi. (limit to 1 per person for all four event days, we will be ID checking/tracking to avoid duplicate recipients)
Now on to the burning question that I can either imagine or I have already seen pop up...
"What about all us fans who can't go to NYCC Angel? Do you not love us anymore??!?!!!1111!!!"
Quite the contrary, my love for you all grows with every passing day lol. Seriously though, this will be exclusive to NYCC in terms of "the experience/how you get it" as well as small details relative to NYCC. So it's going to be free, if you attend you're going to get to meet Iga and have him sign this for you live, as well as contain some text about being an exclusive "Bloodstained at NYCC 2017" item etc.
But my plan is to also make this art available in as many ways to as many fans as possible. It would be a shame not to do so, seeing as how Mana created such an amazingly beautiful work of art.
I can't confirm anything now and say "we will do this or that", but to loop everyone in on the possibilities, I'm going to be reaching out to our friends such as Fangamer/Sanshee/etc. to see if we can sell things like large high quality prints, among other possibilities. I'm also looking to do things like release Desktop and Mobile backgrounds (for free ofc), super high resolution versions, all kinds of stuff.
Feel free to leave your suggestions and questions here, and I will answer you as soon as I can and as honestly as I can. 
And be sure to share your love for Mana and her art if you like this! Too many times we think the artist will take it as pandering or "they already know" how great we think their art is, but they don't! So fire away with everything you got, let her (and us) know what you feel about the art!

Snatched this higher quality image for the time being. It's really something worthwile. Also I don't know how the team's organized with that, buuuuut would the artbook be from the most part if not entirely by Mana... eeeeh, I would not complain  I feel bad for Natsume san who created some really great artworks for the campaign and the game and I liked them a lot (the phone wallpaper is still there), I feel like I'm backstabbing him or something but with the situation with Inti being changed on top of everything, I just love, love this artwork. |

I just wanted to say the art is incredible and Mana is truly the Ayami Kojima of Bloodstained and I hope that, that will be the case if/when there is a sequel. Also that should be the cover art or at least a variation of this. |

This is a great piece and stands on its own. In a way it feels warmer and more inviting than the more somber, but still beloved, Symphony Of The Night cover art. A different but equally valid emotion is being displayed here and it seems to be "Grace and Purity" despite the surrounding darkness. About that darkness WOW the use of the candles texture gives an enthralling illusion of being rendered in oil paints with golden highlights extending even into the blackest portions of the night overhead. I really enjoy the look on Miriam's face like she's spinning in place for the first time after gaining all her equipment and looking into a mirror to reassure herself, seeing all those friends supporting her in the background. Lot's of wonderful touches in personality and positioning as well with a real sense of composition. Dominique seems almost chaste and motherly to her piety displaying young shopkeeping charge. Gebel seems as if he's less a villain and more a welcoming host to his fairy castle of horrors meant to house his childhood friend. That sword's unique shape and design is really used to pull the eye in and is displayed in all its glory looking like something truly magically potent instead of a delicate prop. Mana! Thank you for being a big enough fan of Iga's earlier works and Ayami Kojima's renderings to make this fine piece of work's characters your own. Your efforts in being a bridge of the spoken word for Artplay are now enhanced through your ability to communicate in art. TLDR: A+ You the MANa!  |

@mana Wonderfully done! I am sure you were thrilled when you were commissioned to do that fine piece of art. It is obviously now an official product. I certainly hope you'll get a place in the in-game gallery. Angel-Corlux-Corlux Thanks again! I love your artwork, Mana! It is very beautiful! I hope you will do many more. I can see the inspiration from Ayami, especially in the candles and roses that surrounds the characters at the bottom. I am happy to see bats flying around the castle. My only critique would be that there are too many characters present on the artwork, so it looks too crowded. I would keep only Miriam, Zangetsu and Gebel. |

That's a really great artwork Mana congratulations! Seeing this made me want to come back learning how to draw, since i kinda gave up after some problems... Anyways, i really loved that piece. Absurdly Castlevaniac but also unique and original. Gebel has a sorrow look at his face, you can clearly see how much the course has devoured his skin and even a bit of his own magic at his hand. Zangetsu, in the other hand, is pure hatred, the way i think the character will be. Holding his Ofuda and thinking nothing but revenge. Dominique, even with her sexy figure, looks chaste and pure, like a holy mother. Johannes has such a suspicious look at his face that makes me wonder so many things... Anne, happy to be alive, with that "sorrow smile" of someone that suffered a lot being at a young age. Alfred and his wise and evil look. Miriam, smiling, determined that she will beat all evil. A demon bat, the blue roses, the candles. It's really perfect. |

For example, the last Igavania, Order of Ecclesia had a nice artwork with Shanoa and Albus contrasting each other, each one going in the opposite direction. I think it is beautiful and accentuates the relationship between these characters at the beginning of the game. If there were more characters on that artwork, it would lose the epicness. I would choose Miriam for being the main character and Gebel for being the main antagonist. I would want to see Zangetsu because he is the coolest character to me, even more interesting than Miriam. I don't find other characters particularly interesting for now. Zangetsu seems like he was born/made to be a protagonist, maybe he would have been that if a female protagonist wasn't chosen for reasons Iga mentioned before. I really like his design. |
