2. Will they be adding physics to objects in the environment?
because jumping on the chandelier looked incredibly odd without any movement.
I had the same thoughts, the enviroment and the objects around them are so static.
I hope they add moving chandeliers that even react when you jump on them or something, also adding several things like mist, fire, bats etc... in towns would make it alot beter,
now it feels all so "lifeless" and "dull"

as for adding just a little bit of interactive sway to the chandeliers, that is something that could be represented by a little bit of bounce in the model, a dust cloud and a sound effect like a groan from the rafters or a rattle in the chains, putting in actual physics sway to those chandeliers will make platforming that much more difficult and require a ton of collision data be generated or you run the risk of bugs like falling through the 'floor' on a collision pass or making the chandelier bounce upwards if you try to jump through from the bottom or side, were not talking about moving platforms that follow a set path regardless of interaction like the chandeliers in cv4 or the floating platforms in cv1
plus they may surprise us and have something already planned to deal with that, half the fun of being in development is seeing what neat tricks they pull off to increase immersion ^_^

Astaroth I agree about the chandeliers. Ideally, I'd like to see a slight shake when you land on it, with a very minor tilt as you approach the edge, but it needs to be preprogrammed animation rather than actual physics, because actual physics are less predictable, which is anathema to platforming mechanics.

Not trying to scold any skeptical fans. I just want you to remember his track record. He has never faltered or failed us before; not with SOTN when he had a lot of freedom and not with the handhelds when when he was restrained. Yeah, that very thought came to be a few days ago again. IGA have been locked away for a while now (in the coffin?) so he must be very thirsty to bring back the whole concept of gothical adventure once again. It drew him into the conclusion that he even needed to start his own company, chase companies, publishers and such. He was in tears when people said No, he did not however give up but pushed on, using both friends and companies to aid him to where he is today. The fans spoke up and the AAA companies didn't understand, and still doesn't. I really hope this game get the love it deserves, not only by fans but most importantly by IGA himself. The part I really hope for is not for IGA, but for the fans, because I know IGA is putting his heart into this. Why bother if you do not want things to be right at the start? The visions, the concept and the details have already been planted, and out of this effort we have gotten a stained rose, a beautiful concept, familiar faces and faithful crew that only want the best. We do not want a AAA masterpiece. We want an IGA masterpiece. *mic drop*
