Awesome, what are you going to be playing Type-0 on?

Well it looks like it's time for an update since it's been almost a month since my last one.

Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition - Beat it about a week after my last update, still really really enjoyed it

Rare Replay - I've played several of the games included in this collection (Jetpac, Battletoads, Battletoads: The Arcade Game, Grabbed by Ghoulies, RC Pro AM, Blast Corps, Killer Instinct Gold) beating two of them (Battletoads: The Arcade Game & JetPac) and reached at least 50 of the game's 330 or so milestones

Ori and the Blind Forest - Beat it earlier this week and I gotta say the more I played it the more I started to enjoy this neat little game

Final Fantasy Type 0 HD - I initially started playing this game getting well into Chapter 1 before getting sidetracked by the release of Rare Replay, but I did enjoy what I've played so far and plan to (eventually) get back to it once I've finished playing MGS V: The Phantom Pain which is due out in less than 2 weeks.

Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae demo - This digital demo came with my copy of Final Fantasy Type 0 HD and so far I've only managed to play a small bit of it (from what I understand doing everything in the demo takes a little over 2 hrs and I've only played it for less than 30 mins which was just enough to complete the tutorial and do some lite exploring) though I did enjoy what I've played of the demo (especially the battle system) and will definitely try to play all the way through it before the full game comes out sometime next year.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes - Since this was one of this months free XBL GwG games I figured I'd pick it up even though I've already played though the PS3 version last year for shits and giggles. So far I've only completed the main "Ground Zeroes" mission and outside of some messing around to prep for The Phantom Pain I don't plan on playing much more of this game since I practically 100 percented it (achievement/trophy wise) last year for the PS3.

Batman: Arkham Knight - Since my last update the Red Hood, A Matter of Family and 89 Batman Packs came out, all of which I have (with the exception of A Matter of Family's Weird War Tales achievement) 100 percent completed. I've also completed 77% of New Game Plus mode leaving my current achievement count at 78 out of 80.

Killer Instinct - Since my last update I've completed story mode for 3 more characters (and in the process figured out how to regularly perform an Ultra Combo for 2 of those characters), played a few online matches (where I continually got my ass handed to me), and tried out the Season 3 Rash Character preview which I really enjoyed with the exception of Rash's Ultra Combo which I felt was a bit lame.

Coming Soon:
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain - had this game pre-ordered for months and unless a major change happens at Konami (like the firing of all upper management and/or the removal of the company's owner as company president plus banning him from making company decisions) then this game will be the very last Konami game I'll buy new or digitally so that Konami will not get any (more) of my money.

Spec Ops the Line just got done with me. I got all 4 endings. I'm going to stay away from military shooters for a while.(Not that I played that many to begin with)
Valkyria Chronicles might be fine since it's more of a strategy game, but it's still war. Incredibly anime war, but war.

I need to cleanse my palette. I should fight some demons, kill some Uruks, explore ghosts towns, play a puzzle game. I haven't done that one in a while.

I just beat Vergil's scenario in Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition. They clearly had ZERO time to work on this game. I've heard they only had a mere 6 months. Still, it was impressive with what they did. I absolutely stomped the final couple of bosses and felt really REALLY strong. Then I got some really awful news just as I beat the final boss, and all of my satisfaction SHATTERED.

Has something like that ever happened to you?

Pay. Day. 2.

Probably one of the funniest gaming experiences I've had in a while, and I was playing 2 player. This game is HAAAARD with just two newbies. We clearly needed at least 3 for this one mission involving the meth lab. In short, after finding the two dudes we needed to complete the mission dead, we had to cook the meth...RIGHT THERE AND THEN. Oh by the way, there are police swarming the place. And you can't leave until you cook it. And you need instructions from a dude on the phone who is giving them to you through a google search. Needless to say, we failed the mission like 6 times. The game did not hesitate to kick us in the teeth and we were able to adapt as best as we can. Thing is, the two bots are only interested in shooting cops, so we couldn't effectively counter the countermeasures the cops were doing like cutting the power or throwing flashbangs/smokebombs.
Before that, it was destroy as much of a mall as you can and take what you can.

Despite all that, it was surprisingly fun and really funny as we tried to bumble our way to completing a mission only to fail. Can't wait to play tomorrow with maybe 2 more dudes.

Oh and I played Kingdom Hearts 1.5, but all I did was finish Agrabah, a few tournaments, and did some cleanup in that game. Nothing too major.

I just started playing Telltale's Back to the Future game. I just finished part 2 of the 5 parts. Not only is it hilarious, but the first two parts could have been a movie. It was that entertaining. The game is insanely easy, but I'm enjoying myself. The references and humor keep me in.

I got it at a steal too, the humble store was doing a build your own Telltale bundle. I got about 4 games for 83% off which also included Wolf Among Us, Game of Thrones, and even Tales from the Borderlands. Less than 20 bucks. I feel like I just robbed Telltale and gave to charity while doing so.
