no games perfect,
tactics has a super annoying issue with random encounters scaling to your level, so you can easily get overlevelled and undergeared trying to unlock classes and abilities and things will just wreck you
1 i dislike the magic system
2 i find fun to grind but i rarely make it far in (damn you squeenix give us an official nes version translation, same with 3)
3 i dislike that you have to unequip yourself before you change classes (and the limited inventory space the nes games have from what i can tell makes my ocd scream)
4 i havent played very far in,
5 i havent played much but want to
6 has issues with whole character plots being easily missable, massive gaping bugs, and being a 100%ocd nightmare (damn you ragnarok!)
7 has translation confusion, retcon syndrome, and the 2 missable chars are actually really important to backstory of the entire game (one moreso than the other)
8 is super slow and the whole draw/junction system being tied to triple triad makes my head hurt
9 has fucking tetra master, a seemingly completely random card game that makes no sense whatsoever and god tier cards can level up and roll over into being shit cards >.<, and that one weapon you can only get if you can get to the end of the game in 12 hrs ;_;
10 has whinybitch mcshortpants (which to be honest is probably how a lot of people who get eaten by something and flung 1000 years into the future to a world that makes no sense to them* would react if they werent huddled and crying in a corner)
havent played 11
12 that damn spear that disappears if you do certain things and the chest grinding cause chests now have random loot! >.</_|_|_ (so glad they respawn at least, otherwise id probably hate this game instead of loving it)
13 i really dont like how obviously linear it is and the severe lack of control i feel i have over battles (wtf rating system, does it even do anything?)
14 has grind spots that are tear inducing but theyre for the most part optional (relics, some event gear)
*yes i know, but its spoilery
