Cale , I know of another Lovecraft-inspired anime if you want to know. It's called Haiyore! Nyaruko-san(Nyaruko: Crawling With Love). It's a comedy where Nyaruko, a Nyarlotephian posing as a female high school student, has the hots for this high school student, and wants to get inside his pants. Meanwhile Cthuko, another alien species posing as a female high school student, loves Nyaruko and wants to get inside her pants. And then there's Hasuta, another alien species posing as a cute high school boy student, likes the high school student, and wants to take their relationship to the next level.  Also, cheers.  I am all for creativity. . . But come on Japan! Is nothing sacred?  |

As I have said before I just don't like the word "true" in the name it makes everyone else sound "false" you know? all the people coming might not realize this forum is around and making them sound false for joining late is not cool imo... but for those who like the name I completely understand why (I also love the Type-moon reference and reference to ancient vampires) so whatever title wins I'm ok with it XD cause I said my peace  |

I wrote this in the other thread but here is the fasination with "Legion" in the hellish or gothic scene A legion refers to a crap load of people (and or "things"): - In rome the legion was about 5,120 to 6,000...
- The reason it became so popularized was from the bible text in Mark 5:9 (there is also one in the book of Luke) when Jesus asked a demon what is its name and it answered "we are legion for we are many...
- In rome's waning years (around 200 ad) the "legion" became less and less, to the point where a legion was roughly 1,000 to 1,500...
- so bottom line the term "Legion" refers to a LOT of people (, demons or things)

The Christian New Testament gospels of Mark, Luke and Matthew describe an incident in which Jesus meets a man, or men, possessed by demons who, when asked what their name is, respond: "My name is Legion, for we are many." When I suggested the name I was thinking more military legion than anything else. Like that 300 pic. The boss is just a coincidence that adds a layer. I do not want to be associated with Granfaloon as the definition of that term is an insult to a group of people mindlessly following something. No matter what the name is, this particular group will always mean a great deal to me. I wish the update would hurry up... this wait us killing me.
