I don't really like the idea of having two names. I guess it doesn't really matter, but I thought the whole point was to unify us all as original members. Two names would not only confuse those who dont know the history(who wants to be explaining forever that we couldn't pick a name?) but also create a divide amongst the group, even if it's a trivial one. I think this is a case of management needing to make a hard call and pick a name. You can't please everyone. /2cents |

The thing is, no one wants it to fall into one person's decision. That's a lot of pressure to have as well as this is supposed to be a community decision. It's true that you can't please everyone, and at the same time people from both sides say they don't mind of the outcome, but I feel this is supposed to be something that's for all of us to have fun with and discuss. There's also still time for one side to take the lead, and if it ends in a tie then hopefully all of us together as community can make a slightly impactful decision :b

When a community reaches an impasse, however, it falls to some sort of adjudicator or moderator to sort things out. At this point, I don't even care who wins, I just want Mike to make a decision solving the matter. Mike. Not the community. These bull _ghost polls are leading us nowhere. The only thing having these two polls has shown is that we NEED somebody to cut the knot. |
