I thought so too, but re-reading the lore, it seems Miriam is not technically an alchemist, she was taken in by alchemists. Now we know that they did the crystal experiment on a bunch of kids, but we don't know if they were under a friendly guise in the beginning, or if they decided to try and teach the kids any alchemy. We shall see.

What are your suggestions?

Johannes probably does all the crafting for Miriam. I'd like to know why she has been trained to be proficient in weapons.

Hopefully it's not the "use orphan as a killing machine to take out our enemies/destroy the world" cliche

About my own experience, yes this can happen for sure!
What is real real important is the fan base to keep working for the project as much as possible. Then you'll get the enough attention to get involved with real staff, executives, etc to support your job and become official. Time will say what will happen with this Bloodstained forums, but it certainly happens, no doubt abouit it!

I MEAN XD Do you know the name Alizée? She's french singer. I was an admin and president of her official fan club in Mexico some years ago. I was in charge alonside others for many years. About that experience if you dare to read the following wall text I can tell you some indepth milestones very very briefly, hopefully you'll find them interesting:

• We started as two freaky lonely fans and an unkown foreign singer.


• Fan forums were created, close friends were invited.


• The main focus for us fans became PROMOTION, that was a key word. Free publicity for the singer to make her known by people.


• We increased our own knowledge to be able to help much more the community (for example, I improved my programming skills for the forums and the website, I learnt how to draw manga for fanart, and I also learnt french to be able to translate interviews, songs, etc.)


• We gathered fans that wanted to help with different abilities: graphic designers, programmers, writers, translators, muscicians, printing houses staff, plushies makers, t-shirt printers and a long etc.


• As our fan base grew, the quality and quantity of the promotion got much better thanks to fans, thus gathering more fans.


• We managed to get the state of official fan club and forums speaking with Universal (back then) executives showing the work done and the interest of the community.


• Alliances with other communities in differrent countries like USA and French grew. We exchanged products with them and we helped the fans to get the products they wanted via contests.


• Alizée changed from Universal to Sony Music. The official state didn't transfer immediatelly, so we needed to keep up the good work and we managed to get the official state once again demostrating Sony executives we were capable of doing great promotion, and we could move our fan base as needed to help Alizée.


• Countries needing help to get their official fan club asked us for help, so we guided their representatives with our experience to successfully get their official state.


• Sony talked to us admins often, and we gathered special information like news or as the time passed we even got top secret info like the hotel and room were Alizée was going to be in an hotel, etc.

As time passed, many events occured and the fandom was divided. Our beloved community split because of a foll bad intentioned admin. The story is too long, but let's say we decided to abbandon ship: We left our beloved official website and forums because we were completely fed up about that individual, so much we decided to start from scratch once again: We created new forums, a new website etc as the first community had been corrupted by this individual and his followers. WE KNEW we were going to get once again the official state, because all the people that REALLY made the things happend and worked HARD, including ourselves of course, was moving to the new forums/club. Thus:

• We tripled our work as admins, and guiding the community to get needed self proposed goals, and we promoted Alizée better.


• Time passed and Sony made us the official club AGAIN, as we were the ones doing the real work and our community.


• Sony gave us CDs, DVDs, special events and offers for our fan base to give to our loyal fans as we wanted (mainly through contests), often sharing those with the other club though (we made them do it, the fans didn't have the fault of their new "leaders")


• Alizée herself knew about Mexico and her loyal fans thanks to intimate contacts we managed to get in touch. So we contacted directly with no intermediaries


• She came to Mexico to give some concerts and special meetings with fans and fan clubs. We get a special treatment for us and our fan base. She know who we were and she recognized us.


• We managed to buy her a special gift she wanted, and we gave her the gift in the name of the community.


• Finally she thank us personally back stage for all that we have done for her. She was aware of our efforts.
