A publisher has signed onto the Bloodstained project: We'll be working with 505 Games. They put together a video with IGA to make the announcement (and also show off some new footage of the game). Take a look:

505 games are a good publisher, with a good reputation
I enjoyed some of the games they published
and that new gameplay video, IGA did justice with the UE4, because it looks really beautiful

When this game come out in 2018 I'll be playing it until atleast 2038, just like I did with Symphony of the Night.

That entrance hall is absolutely AMAZING. All those cool arches and lighting effects just made me feel warm and fuzzy.
But...505 games? The guys that shoved Payday 2 full of microtransactions until the creators bought it from them and removed them? Iv'e heard very little positive about them lately, and until we find out just what capacity they are involved, consider me very nervous.

So that's the entrance of the castle? Looks nice! I'll just keep hoping that the level design will be memorable. Everything else thus far has been stellar

The entrance to the castle looks great, I got a real castle feel from the little that we got to see. the light shining through the windows looks nice as well, the color got a nice sunset or sunrise kind of vibe from them.
Unfortunately I haven't played many of the games 505 games has published, but I know about half of them so I think that's a good sign.

UGGG IGA! I'm so happy for you! And I'm glad that they got the help that they needed this early on. I'm glad that it didn't turn into a wild goose chase. I think that the aesthetic design of the game is turning out stunning...! I remember one of the reference pieces that Michiru got was a fountain outside of the castle, and I thought "Man, what a stunning piece to add!". It's everything and more that I would expect out of an Igarashi game, and I can't wait to play the $HIT out of this game.
And 505 Games will take care of it, I'm sure. Honestly, IGA could have picked anyone, and I wouldn't have been too worried. Just cause he IS overseeing the project. :p

According to a friend of mine - who plays Payday 2 and keeps track of those things - supposedly that's not true. He says Overkill came out and admitted that microtransations were their fault. Make of that what you will. |

Well if you ask me, I don't think that it matters on the publishers Since IGA have stated in the AMA in Reddit if I'm right (correct me if I'm wrong) That the publishers will only help them with the budget and marketing of the game, nothing more So, I don't think 505 games can just shove things into Bloodstained as they please |

But I think there's no way Iga would let them put microtransactions in Bloodstained. However, if it's something cosmetic-only like costumes for Miriam and can somehow increase chance of Bloodstained II happening, then I'm ok with it.  |

Definitely not a fan of the portraits of backers being in the main entrance of the game. It breaks the fourth wall and usually they're very goofy out of place looking portraits.
I kinda wish it was just a big room you found dedicated to it rather than an essential area

The game looks so beautiful, I can't wait!
505 games were also involved in some highly successful indie games such as : Brothers, Abzu and the upcoming game Indivisible.
No need to worry about the experience you had from Payday 2 I don't believe it was a publisher mistake.
