Agreed. But if it's done, I hope it wouldn't be like LoS2's cringe worthy delivery of "What is a man? A miserable pile of secrets." I was a huge fan of the dialogue of the SotN games, and I loved Richter's conversation with Dracula, but my god... I nearly coughed up blood at the horrible scene in LoS2. That said, if they can have an enemy yell Soul steal as one of his attacks, and have a scene where he constantly goes "I'm interested in this" that'd be hilarious and awesome. Just hopefully with better context. I wouldn't call Robert Carlyle's LoS2 performance cringe-worthy. That guy's acting chops are pretty buff. That said LoS2's writing was hit and miss but the SotN line has always been goofy thanks to the translation. But a degree of charming campiness has always been present in CV so it worked. It is funny though how similar Richter's dialogue was to the naive self-rightiousness you heard while fighting the Brotherhood in LoS2. Richter was pretty pious. I guess that makes sense though if he was one of the younger "active" Belmonts. He had some growing up to do.

It was cringeworthy because it didn't fit at all in the scene. He literally just says it, for no reason. It was delivered at random, out of nowhere with no context to encapsulate it. I'm actually one that loves SotN's dialogue. I never got the hate.
