I figure a topic dedicated to films made, or published, by Walt Disney Company could go here.
So, what are your favorite films from these companies? For the classics, The Little Mermaid. I grew up watching that movie over and over again, and watched the TV series like a religion. For modern Day films, I gotta say its a 3 way tie between Frozen/Big-Hero-6/Princess-and-The-Frog. I just love all 3 films so much~
Anyone else here excited for the upcoming film Zootopia?

Big Hero 6 was pretty good. I'm a fan of early Pixar, as 3D has been a hobby of mine.

Watched Inside Out with the princess last night. We loved the movie! A lot of emotion...I really felt Riley's sadness. If you're a parent, take the kiddos. Classics:
The Lion King. Hakuna Matata need I say more?

I just took the family to see Inside Out. I really liked it. I used to be a huge Pixar fan. This one had some good moments.

With Classic Disney, it has to be The Lion King all the way.
With Pixar, my fave has to be The Incredibles. The beginning of Up has made me the closest to crying in a long time, though. Even though that was about a week after it came out and I haven't welled since.

I wish I could see Inside Out
But if I would go to a theater, it would be a lesser translated version and everything would be overpriced, so I'll wait the dvd release and rent it or something |

Disney is doing a Jack and The Beanstalk film, called Gigantic. Rather than just one dumb giant living in a castle, we are going to be exposed to a world that features various different types and subspecies of giants. Jack is going to be someone whos in his early 20s, and will befriend an 11 year old giant girl who will accompany him on his adventure in the Land of Giants. The film will follow the tradition of Disney Fairy-tales being Musicals. Also, I know this is kinda late, but jim: This is not a standard 'animated film' topic. this is a topic made to discuss films made by Disney, Pixar, Lucas Films, and Marvel. Iron Giant is Warner Brothers, so it does not belong in this topic. |
