Miriam and friends amiibo?

Actually it would be cool to see this community come together and make a set of figurines. that would be so awesome!

Have you heard of garage kits? If you any of y'all are interested in figures in the near future, like maybe before the game even hits or just after, I might look into using and working with garage kits. I've certainly seen fan-made garage kits to make unofficial figures of character out of other games. The results can be pretty good. Out right clay sculpture might be a way to go too. Though of course both require a good deal of talent so I dunno who here is good with working with their hands in this way.

I'm there with you LeoLeWolferoux ... I'm great with ideas but pulling them off, not so much lol. Now If someone was into making garage kits that would be awesome... but I doubt someone with that much talent would take the time to do that... let alone share it.

that is why I suggest 3D printing... with some of the kickstarter tiers being in the 1,000 and up, there must be some people here that own a 3D printer... and I know there is a person that can take the 3D render of Miriam out of the demo... so we can print her... wow hearing all that just now, this is not easy at all...

but still easier then making it from scratch.

it is nintendo's money pot right now so I doubt they will nix it anytime soon. too many people would be pissed if they killed it like that... look what happened when they stopped releasing Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, and Marth. they were like "oh no we could be making money on that" and so they brought it back

I'm voting no, but mostly because, in my experience, humanoid amiibo tend towards not... looking as great as their cartoony counterpoints. Take Kirby and sit him next to Marth, and marvel at how the latter has such a mushy face... it's to be expected.

If they wanted to make a proper Miriam figure, license her out as a poseable action figure ala Figma or Figuarts.

As an amiibo collector (63 amiibos as of writing, but that will bump up to 65 once I pick up my pre-ordered Squid Sisters amiibos from Gamestop this Friday) I wouldn't mind this.

Amiibo content in games is typically nothing groundbreaking. Usually they just unlock costumes (Mario Kart 8, Yoshi's Woolly World, etc.), or are a power-up (Kirby: Planet Robobot, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, etc.). There are a few examples of amiibos unlocking entire modes (I can bring up Twilight Princess HD again, since you need the Wolf Link amiibo to access the new Cave of Shadows bonus dungeon) but those are few and far between.

I imagine that a Bloodstained amiibo would function like a powerup. Scan your Miriam amiibo, regain a substantial amount of health, or whatnot. Probably with a limitation connected to it (Kirby: Rainbow Canvas has a 'you can scan this amiibo only once per day' rule to it) But, as an amiibo collector, what would really be compelling to me about a Miriam amiibo is that it would allow us to bring Miriam to various Nintendo games.

Originally I had thought that the non-Nintendo character amiibos in the Smash line would do next to nothing, but I was pleasantly surprised to see Nintendo prove me wrong with all the use they managed to get out of the Sonic, Pacman, and etc. amiibos. So long as the air between Nintendo and IGA is good, perhaps we could give Miriam silly little cameos in future Mario games with an amiibo.

Simply because you won't benefit from amiibo because of refusal to purchase doesn't mean others shouldn't have the opportunity. It's like denying the party ice cream because you don't personally want to partake.

I don't think they'll have amiibo support to be honest. Not only would it be a third party game but also by an independent company and funded through a kickstarter. It all SCREAMS unorthodox. :/

While having any kind of figurine would be sweet, I don't think that unlockable Wii U exclusive content is fair for people who backed the game, but opted for different platform.
I'd prefer a figurine or a nendoroid by GSC, or any other action figure, so every Bloodstained fan can buy it for themselves.
