During Microsoft's Xbox E3 2016 press conference the director of ID@Xbox, Chris Charla, introduced a montage showcasing indie games coming soon to Xbox One. Bloodstained made an appearance. Here are the screenshots of Miriam fighting Seama, lesser demon from previous update and cannon firing. Action takes place on Galleon Minerva.  C.png (1.47 MB)  S.png (1.43 MB)

Thank you for posting the screengrabs! I missed out on seeing a big portion of the montage in the stream.
I wonder what the deal with the canon will be. I'm not sure if it looks like there may be some interaction with backgrounds or if it's part of a scripted event. Guess we'll find out soon enough with the demo.

I saw the cannon firing but I missed the Seama (God that name).
What is that thing laying on the ground in the Seama screengrab? It kinda looks like a ring but it also kinda looks like a square with an "X" on it. It's behind Miriam.

The sword animation is very snappy. Looks really good, I hated how in the later games the sword almost looked like rubber. This FEELS solid and quick. Very nice  |
